Modular cardboard
This type of art requires you to make a piece of artwork that is abstract and three-dimensional. Modular Cardboard art, of course, uses cardboard to build what you desire. This style of project has to have shapes that can connect to one another to build any form. It does have to be only one shape with the same notches on the same places on all of the cutouts. Using cardboard is clever because you can bend and fold it once you start connecting them. I picked an irregular shape just so it's not too basic for me. I kind of drew the shape randomly and turned out to be a deformed star-like shape. I then cut the same shape 14 times and make 3 notches on all of them at similar locations. Then, I made 3 different forms of it and took pictures. I had in my mind about having balance and to use the negative space to make my art interesting.
